Pablo, ethanol in the age of Art Deco

If you look at the Pablo ethanol stove, you'll see the characteristic lines that made the modernist fashions of the Roaring Twenties such a success. At once retro and modern, refined and ultra-sophisticated, the design of this floor-standing fireplace is made up of curves and straight lines. The first thing you notice is the square hearth in the centre, made of black steel. This houses the ethanol burner, which is itself protected by two thin aluminium bars. The body is made of glossy white painted steel. It incorporates an ovoid base on which the ethanol burner sits. It appears to be made up of two side columns, giving Pablo a vintage look that resembles the design of old jukeboxes.

Heating: 4 kW of power

Pablo is fitted with a 2.2. burner. Its minimal consumption of 0.4 l/h means that it is autonomous for 4 hours after filling, during which time Pablo will produce a heating output of 4000 watts.

Commissioning and maintenance

Pablo will be delivered with a range of accessories (flame arrestor, etc) in an over-wrapped parcel for greater safety during transport. Assembled as soon as it is manufactured, there are only a few steps to complete before you can use it.

• Install the protective grille on the front, in the slots provided,
• Place the ethanol burner in its housing,
• Start to feed it: a first fill halfway up the appliance is advisable, to allow the foam to soak up the fuel.
• That's it: enjoy flames and a vintage-looking appliance in your own home!

Maintenance should be carried out every month or so, using a washing-up liquid and a stainless steel restorer (Miror, Zebracier, etc.) for the burner and protective grill.
