Installation

Refer to the 3 diagrams below. To use your logs properly, start by arranging a first layer to encircle the burner opening (1). Place the next logs on top of the first layer (2). Leave enough space to access your safety lighter. In general, avoid direct contact between the logs and the fire.

Warnings

Your decorative logs will be close to the hottest part of your ethanol fireplace: naturally, it’s important to take precautions. Here’s what you should not do:

• A/ Do not touch the logs while the burner is operating: they are hot and could burn you.
• B/ Do not add or remove a log while it is burning. Likewise, do not use real wood.
• C/ Do not place anything on the burner that would come into direct contact with the flame: a flame deflected by any object could interfere with the operation of your fireplace burner.

Similarly, do not blow on a burning burner, and avoid using conventional matches or lighters: these items are too short to safely light your fireplace.
